Copycat Kale Salad Recipe Inspired by Tassili’s Raw Food Cafe

Uncategorized Apr 03, 2023

I want to eat raw vegan (I preferred to say plant-based) for a few months to see if it will make me look younger, because I work 3rd shift I tend to be awake during the day & night, which has caused me to look older although I’ve always looked younger than my age.

The Lord introduced me to the Eat to Live plan and this plan has allowed me to lose over 100 pounds.  I want to still use the guidelines of Eat to Live plan as I transition to eating mostly raw plant-based foods.

Eating a pound of leafy greens every day is the goal for me and Tassili's Raw Reality Café have some amazing kale salads.

I searched the internet and found “Copycat Punany Kale Wrap by ALEX FINCH”

The salad I made was completely inspired by the copycat punany kale wrap recipe except that I made some exception considering the nutritarian way of eating and I used the recipe to make a salad instead of a wrap.

The salad...

The Prayers of Faith is Medicine

Today’s Task Reading:

Prayer is the key to getting access to God, our doctor. God delights when we seek Him in Prayer (Proverbs 15:8). God listens to the prayers of the righteous. The key is not to worry, but to make our request known to God by prayer and continual petitions with thanksgiving so God can keep our hearts and our minds (Philippians 4:6-7). Let us replace worrying with worship and thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2). Since God hears us when we pray and provides us what we ask according to His will (1 John 5:14-15).

It’s incredible how our thinking affects our health. Proverbs 17:22 mentions how a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit brings fatigue. There is another ailment that doesn’t seem to affect us, but it affects us like poison – it is a sin. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), but we can have eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

In Day 87, we discussed how Jesus gives us Hope, and Hope is like...

God the Holy Spirit is Medicine

Today’s Task Reading:

Today we will discuss how God the Son is our medicine. God, our Father, provided "Jesus" the Son of God to be our medicine. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Jesus came to heal. Matthew 4:23-25 illustrates how Jesus healed the multitude. Matthew 8:1-3 demonstrates how Jesus healed the leper. Matthew 8:5-10 shows how Jesus interceded for the healing of a soldier's servant. Matthew 9:27-31 illustrates how Jesus healed the blind. Matthew 9:32-33 demonstrates how Jesus healed the demon-possessed. Mark 7:31-37 illustrates how Jesus healed the deaf. John 5:1-15 shows how Jesus healed the disabled. So it is easy to see how Jesus came to cure all diseases and forgive. Through Christ, we are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus heals us with His redeeming blood. When Jesus died and rose from the dead, He illustrated to us how much He cares...

God the Father is Medicine

Today’s Task Reading:

This week we will focus on the various ways we can receive healing. Today we will discuss how God the Father is medicine for our sickness and diseases. One of the main reasons why God the Father is medicine for our body, soul, and spirit, because He keeps all His promises, and that gives us hope (Deuteronomy 7:9). Fortunately for us, hope makes our heart glad (Psalm 16:9). Proverbs 17:22 says a cheerful heart is good medicine.

The second reason God the Father is medicine. He has given us the 1st line of defense against disease with green leafy vegetables and herbs (Genesis 1:12). God said herbs are excellent for treating as well as preventing diseases (Revelation 22:2). Moreover, God said fruit and leaves are great for healing (Ezekiel 47:10). So if anyone is sick, seek God 1st and then send them to herb shop.

Most importantly, God is our healer (Exodus 15:26). God heals us and forgives us (Psalms 103:3). All we need to do is cry out to God for help,...

Wise Counsel is Medicine

Today’s Task Reading:

This week is the last week of the Series!

God has been so good and has taught us so many great things relating to health and wealth. Today we will focus on setting up a healthy support system of counselors, advisors, and mentors. They help us succeed (Proverbs 15:22). They give us security (Proverbs 11:14, Ecclesiastes 7:12). They provide us with victory (Proverbs 24:6). They help us strategize and fight to receive what is rightfully ours (Proverbs 20:18). Wise instructions gives us life (Proverbs 4:13). James 1:5 says if we lack wisdom, we should pray for wisdom, and God will provide it.

We should do whatever it takes to avoid lousy counsel. So we must make sure our counsel is wise because a horrible support system ruins our morals (1 Corinthians 15:33). So we must test if our support system is from God because they should acknowledge that Jesus Christ has come as God in the flesh. (1 John 4:1-2). Wise counsel isn’t prideful, but humble; humble...

Aromatherapy

Today’s Task Reading:

There is healing power in smelling essential oils. The oils can be applied in many different ways for pain relief, nausea relief, fatigue relief, and stress relief. We can inhale it straight from the bottle. We can put a few drops in your hands and rub them together and cup them over our mouth and nose. We can put a drop of it on a pendant and fasten it around our neck. We can add 10-15 drops of essential oils to 1⁄4 cup of Epson salt. We can drip 1-2 drops of essential oil in a bowl of steaming filter water. We can drop essential oils into a diffuser. We can add oil to car diffuser. We can get a massage with essential oils. We can massage a few drops of essential oils on the bottom of our feet before going to bed using the techniques discussed on Day 79. We can take it orally, but carefully under the direction of a health practitioner. We can add it to a warm bath. We can add essential oils directly to our pulse points and wear as a perfume.

Study, Pray & Meditate on Scriptures

Today’s Task Reading:

When we are experiencing a difficult time, the right thing to do is go to God’s word. There are five ways we can use God’s word to deal with the stresses of life: We can hear it, read it, study it, memorize it, and meditate on it.

Hearing scriptures builds up our faith (Romans 10:17). Unfortunately, we all have the challenge of overcoming selective hearing. If we don’t care for the message we are hearing, we tend to ignore it. If we like the message we are hearing, we tend to receive it. Nevertheless, if we are God’s followers, we will know His voice and follow it (John 10:27). Yet, we need to be careful and avoid speaking words of doubt and unbelief because it prevents God’s from operating in our lives (Matthew 13:58). So we need to make sure we speak the truth by following the Holy Spirit that guides us to all truth (John 16:13-14).

Reading scriptures opens our eyes to God’s truth (Psalm 119:18). The Bible Project...

Reflexology

Today’s Task Reading:

We are in week 12, and this week we are focusing on ways we can de-stress. On Day 78, we discussed how homeopathy remedies could help us de-stress. Today we will discuss how reflexology can help us de-stress.

Reflexology is an excellent way to de-stress because it improves circulation, cleanses the body of toxins, tunes-up the body, revitalizes energy and is considered preventive health care. Reflexology encourages the massaging of appropriate points in the feet that mirror organs of the body to assist the body with self-healing and illness prevention. Usually, when an area on foot is tender, it means that a particular area needs extra attention for restoration. According to ChineseFootReflexology.com, there are certain things we can do to our feet to relieve stress, worry and anxiety.

Homeopathy

Today’s Task Reading:

Welcome to week 12!

This week we will focus on ways we can de-stress.

Sometimes after traumatic and stressful events, it is hard to recover. We can choose to treat the fear, anxiety, panic attacks with natural homeopathic remedies, also known as homeopathy. The goal of homeopathy is to observe symptoms and choose a remedy that closely mimics the symptom. Then give the remedy at right potency and dilute the treatment one dose at a time. We can practice homeopathic remedies ourselves, but a trained professional homeopath can better develop a customized treatment for us and carefully observes the symptoms to make sure we are getting better. If after three doses, there are no changes, then the homeopathic professional will chose another remedy that better matches the symptom.

Here are some natural remedies that can help us de-stress, and according to betternutrition.com dosages from 30c, 200c to 1M can be taken daily or weekly, depending on the severity and...
