Today’s Easy Task:  Avoid eating unclean foods

How to rock this task:

  • Get your Bible and find the scriptures listed below to read why we should avoid eating unclean food

Today's Devotional:

One of the best ways to avoid eating unclean food is by educating ourselves. Have you ever considered the Bible as a source of the best type of foods we should eat. Hebrews 4:12 says that the Word of God is living active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

If you are in pain, once you participate in pleasurable activities it surprisingly alleviates the pain.

Kechi Okwuchi a burnt survivor of a plane crash and finalist on American’s Got Talent was explaining in a Testimony that after her 5 weeks in coma.  She had undergone over 100 surgeries which caused her tremendous pain.  There was a point that the doctors couldn’t do anything more to help her with the pain and itching and she was without sleep for 3 nights.  She was depressed and felt helpless.  Her grandma told her to talk to God like He was...

Week 9: Resting

Today’s Easy Task:  Forgive and allow the anger to dissipate

How to rock this task:

  • Complete steps 1-3 of today’s task reading

Today's Devotional:

Today we will focus on unresolved resentment and abandonment.  It’s interesting how rejection can make us physically and emotionally sick.  It is even more interesting how if we constantly recall and re-experience stressful events, it will cause our body to tense and experience the stress again, which means we will not just experience the stress from that single occurrence, but experience the stress for multiple occurrences over a long period of time.

That why it is so important for us to express negative feelings and forgive others.  Forgiving actually help heal our wounds and can be medicine to our body and soul.  So the key to our healing...

Today when we will look at our schedule let us observe if we are scheduling time to honor God.
The Sabbath day (Friday sundown to Saturday sundown) is the most healing time for the body.

Week 9: Resting

Today’s Easy Task:  Go to bed few hours after sunset and wake up a few hours before sunrise

How to rock this task:

  • Go to bed few hours after sunset
  • Wake up a few hours before sunrise

Today's Devotional:

We have made it to day 59!

Today we are taking the steps to go to bed few hours after sunset and wake up a few hours before sunrise.

Since Jesus rose very early in the morning before sunrise to pray, we should follow His example (Mark 1:35).  It is important that we wake up gradually and not suddenly, because it stimulates the body unnecessarily and causes side effects, such as headaches.

If we were to look at the animals and their wake up routine, we will notice that only the sick animals wake up after sunrise.  If we are well, it’s a good idea for us to go to bed a few hours...
